As the unlock phase has already begun and India is on Unlock 5.0 version, the Union Minister has announced that the international air travel will remain suspended until 31st of October. The rule has an exception where the flights will be allowed that are approved by the center.
All international flights had remained suspended since India entered into lockdown since March 23 and the restriction was initially lifted as per Unlock 4.0 where flights were allowed from September 30 onwards. But the restrictions have been moved further till October 31.
The government will, however, continue to operate international flights with the countries that have agreed to form Air Travel Bubble such as the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, and more.
As per the latest update, 15 countries have agreed to form the Air Travel Bubble with India.
