Sometimes when planning our upcoming trips, one of the first things we would try to find out is if our destination has any UNESCO World Heritage Site. These sites tend to have significant cultural and historic importance to the country in which it is located. In total, there are 1, 1121 UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the world, and the majority of them are found in Europe. Italy and China have the most certified world heritage sites, with 55 each.
