One of the famous tourist destinations in the US, Statue of Liberty located in the New York Harbor is reopened to visitors after a brief lockdown which was in place due to Coronavirus.

The Statue of Liberty along with the Statue of Liberty Museum and the Ellis Island National Museum has opened its doors to visitors starting August 26 and New York City plans to open up all the museums and cultural institutions soon.

Since March, the statue of liberty and other museums which are famous tourist destinations were closed and like many other sites, they will be operating in reduced capacity which is followed according to health and safety guidelines. Every visitors need to wear the mask, follow social distancing measures and also there might be changes in entry timings and tickets must be purchased online.
