With travel easing up in many European and Scandinavian countries, Iceland one of the popular Scandinavian country has decided to test its tourist twice for Covid-19. Iceland’s Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir in a recent press conference said from August 19 every person entering the country will be tested for coronavirus at the border later he/she should get quarantined for 4-5 days and will be tested for Coronavirus once again.

The decision was taken as recently, there has been a confirmed case of coronavirus every single day and according to Chief Epidemiologist of Iceland Þórólfur Guðnason, it is one of the most effective ways to curb the virus.
