With the tourism industry gradually opening up post-pandemic lockdown, the island nation of Fiji has appealed for billionaires who are looking for a retreat during the pandemic.
Made up of 300 islands, Fiji Islands main source of income in Tourism. The island nation typically accounts to over 40% of GDP which comes from tourism.
Calling all Billionaires to visit the islands as a retreat Prime Minister of Fiji Josaia “Frank” Voreqe Bainimarama in twitter posted: ”So, say you’re a billionaire looking to fly your jet, rent your island, and invest millions of dollars in Fiji in the process — if you’ve taken all the necessary health precautions and borne all associated costs, you may have a new home to escape the pandemic in paradise.”
